New Orleans police release bike thief sketch

New Orleans police on Tuesday released a computer-generated sketch of a man suspected of stealing a bicycle in Lakeview.
According to police, the suspect approached the victim about 11 a.m. May 24 at the corner of Catina and Chapelle streets. He ordered the victim off a gray Schwinn Sidewinder bicycle with black and red stripes and ran off with it toward Filmore Street.
Items on the Sidewinder included a computer, water bottle cage and water bottle.
The suspect is in between 40 and 50 years old. He is 6 feet tall and stocky. He wore blue jeans, an olive yellow polo shirt and brown leather work boots.
